Hello all, I’m new to this tool and what drew us to this tool was its mentioned integration with OpenNMS.
With Exportd , DATAGERRY can export CMDB objects to external systems like monitoring systems, ticket systems, configuration management, and many many more. One of the supported external systems is the monitoring system OpenNMS . DATAGERRY can create (and of course update and delete) OpenNMS nodes from CMDB objects. In this article, we want to give you an example configuration.
Our Example Types
In our example, we defined the two types router and location in DATAGERRY. A router has a hostname, IP…
But it appears this is outdated, or possibly not available anymore? I attempted to configure a webhook, but as expected it did not work.
Wondering if there is something to possible bring back that exportd daemon or what has replaced that daemon?
is it something that configurable in a configuration file?
Thank you
Hi @gabeapp ,
an upcoming feature in our next release will be the integration of OpenCelium. With it it will be possible to use Exportd-like functionalities of importing and exporting data (also to OpenNMS).

Hi Adnan,
Thank you for the information. when is that update scheduled to be released?
is there no alternative method available in the current release?
Can a separate instance of OpenCelium be used for this?
I deployed OpenCelium in docker and trying to get that working but if its confirmed to not work with that setup then i wont put anymore time into it
Thank you
Hi @gabeapp ,
the next release is planned for the beginning of 2026.
In the current release there is no alternative for exportd but the open celium integration is under development.
With the upcoming release this will be possible.
Sincerly,
