Where is exportd in version 3.0.0?

Hello,

Where is exportd in version 3.0.0?

I have many reports in exportd in old version datagerry but in new version i don’t see this feature.

Where is this feature hidden now?

Hello @marcinw,

Thanks for your question! Starting from version 3.0.0, the exportd service has been deprecated and replaced by the new OpenCelium webhook integration.

You can find more details about this transition in the following post:

Important Update to DATAGerry – Transition from exportD Service to OpenCelium Webhook Integration

How can i execute report from 2 and more objects type?

Hi @marcinw ,

at the current state of development it is only possible to create reports regarding a single Type. The report system is planned to be improved and expanded at a later stage of development.

Sincerly,

Hello,

Thank you for your reply,
unfortunately, it’s unexpected. I was hoping that if something changes, it’s for the better, but unfortunately, it’s worse than it was with exportd.
I have over 50 reports in my production application, executed and served within exportd, and most of the reports were generated from multiple object types and combined into one.
Unfortunately, after upgrading to version 3.0.0 (in the test environment), they weren’t migrated to the new mechanism, and they’re also not accessible anywhere within the application.
There should be a way to transfer the definitions, or there should be some way to continue executing them.
Now, unfortunately, you’re adding a function that’s discontinuous with the old one, and it’s poor within a single object type.
Please respond quickly and modify the functionality,
or ideally, go back and re-add exportd. I suspect I’m not the only one who’s been affected by the removal of this functionality, reading the forum.

I wanted to start using this feature in the previous version and found it missing when testing the new one. It’s good that I didn’t waste time on this.
