when creating monthly reports, we have the problem that only the unique field identifier is displayed in the header during export instead of the display name. This makes it very difficult to apply the necessary filters afterwards. Is it possible to change this so that the display names are shown instead of the unique field identifiers?
It is not possible to set how the field should be displayed in the report/export in the field itself:
Thank you for raising this. Right now it’s not possible to show display names instead of the unique identifiers but i will bring this up at our next project-management meeting. I’ll keep you updated afterwards.
thank you for your feedback. The issue has come up again for us. We are surprised that we seem to be the only ones who have a problem with this. It’s great that the report function exists, but since the IDs are displayed in the header, it’s not really useful from our point of view. Is there a trick or a way to create reports in this case? Is there any feedback yet on whether this issue will be fixed?
We have also noticed that there seems to be a bug when using the filter. If, as in our case, we want to set a filter to “OS Version” and select Windows Server 2022 as the value (4th value in the selection), it always jumps to the first value (in our case, Appliances) after saving. Is this problem also known?
I can confirm the error you’re seeing in the filters and have created a Jira ticket (DAT-2311). I’ll update you here when it’s fixed. Regarding the header display names, we’re also looking into that and I’ll share news soon. Thanks!
due to some requried last minute hotfixes this change did not made it in version-3.1 but it is already in the development queue and will definetly be part of the next release.
