# Use authorization token to authenticate in ExternalSystemGenericRestCall (exportd)

Hi, I don’t see any possibility to use authorization token when using an external system API call in exportd. ExternalSystemGenericRestCall accetps only and exactly 4 arguments (host, timeout, user, password). Any ideas how I can use it with an authorization token?  
My usecase: I want to write newly created datagerry object into an external system using its REST-Interface.

as part of the next update, DATAGerry will stop the usage of exportd and will take another approach (More on this topic will be published closer to release).
