Some bug in Summary in searching/ Viewed search list

Hello,
it is wierd i want to search some object with text
i can’t show real name so i named simple like you see

and this is problem i write in searchable sever and it find it but in Summary i see different value.
example object #171 has name

i got in result summary cluster 1 from field “Przypisanie do klastra serwerowego” not from “Nazwa serwera”

when i set other object #158 some value in field “Przypisanie do klastra serwerowego” i got in viewed search list
image

when i unset this field i see again good name my server.

Something is wierd

I will emphasize that everything is correct in the horizontal view of the list of objects.

This is like my Summary looks:

Please repair it.

Hi,
in version 1.6.3 still the same it show name of virtual machine as name of cluster and it is wrong

Hello,

The FIX is not yet in 1.6.3.
Can you see if your objects reference another object where the name fields have the same name.

For example:

Object1 (public_id = 1)
… fields: [
{name: ‘dummy’}, # name as in Object2
{value: ‘test’},
{name: ‘referenceTOobject2’},
{value: ‘2’}
]

Object2 (public_id = 1)
… fields: [
{name: ‘dummy’}, # name as in Object1
{value: ‘test2’}
]
With this configuration, the display values are shown incorrectly. (Is only display problem)

[NET-1079] Summary in the search shows None for some objects. - Jira

HI,
in this type of objects i have configuration:

[
{
“public_id”: 6,
“name”: “serwer-wirtualny”,
“active”: true

“fields”: [
{
“type”: “text”,
“name”: “nazwa”,
“label”: “Nazwa serwera”,
“required”: true,

{
“type”: “ref”,
“name”: “klaster”,
“label”: “Przypisany do klastra serwerowego”,
“ref_types”: [
10
],

in type of object which i assign from field “klaster” in type 6 i configuration:

[
{
“public_id”: 10,
“name”: “klaster-serwerowy”,
“active”: true,

“fields”: [
{
“type”: “text”,
“name”: “nazwa”,
“label”: “Nazwa klastra”,
“required”: true,
“description”: “Wprowad\u017a Nazw\u0119 klastra serwerowego”,

in type id 6 or id 10 i don’t have twice the same value in label or name
reference field in type 6 which according to type id 10 has different name then in type 10 also.

First of all, thank you for the detailed answer.

The reason for the failure is that both objects, Object_6 and Object_10, have the field name Key “nazwa”.

[
{
“public_id”: 6,
“name”: “serwer-wirtualny”,
“active”: true

“fields”: [
{
}, “type”: “text”,
"name": “nazwa”,
“label”: “Nazwa serwera”,
“required”: true,

{
}, “type”: “ref”,
“name”: “klaster”,
“label”: “Przypisany do klastra serwerowego”,
“ref_types”: [
10
],

[
{
}, “public_id”: 10,
“name”: “klaster-serwerowy”,
“active”: true,

“fields”: [
{
}, “type”: “text”,
"name": “nazwa”,
“label”: “nazwa klastra”,
“required”: true,

The good news is. The misbehaviour is corrected with the issue [NET-1079] cleaned up.

Hi,

“public_id”: 6
“public_id”: 10
are not a object but types

image
image

result from top search id #171

id #171 object view

and id #165 object view which is assign to object #171 in field “Przypisane do klastra serwerowego”

so object with public id #171 (in type with public id 6 “serwer fizyczny”) has name server_1 and object with public id #165 (in type with public id 10 “klaster serwerowy”) which is assign in field “Przypisane do klastra serwerowego” has name cluster_1
so these are diffrent names

but types public_id #10 and #6 has fields with the same name
