Export and import list of objects - Problem

Hello,
when I exported a list of objects of this type to json and tried to import something unexpected happened:
I did 2 imports:

  1. my steps:
    (select file)
    import objects from format json i choose file -> next step
    (file config)
    i don’t change anything -> next step
    (type mapping)
    i choose correctly type where i want import -> next step
    (import config)
    i don’t change anything -> next step
    (complete) -> start import
    and this is end correctly and i finish
    SHOE
    i saw that few objects in other type dissapeared.
    i saw that public id which dissapeared from other type gets in my new imported list of objects.

since something like this happened, I made a different attempt

  1. my steps:
    (select file)
    import objects from format json i choose file -> next step
    (file config)
    i don’t change anything -> next step
    (type mapping)
    i choose correctly type where i want import -> next step
    (import config)
    and deselect Overwrite Public ID -> next step
    (complete) -> start import
    and now import has failed because:
    “Object import for object - has PublicID but not overwrite setting”

Format CSV have the same pool so i expect the same end result. that’s way i don’t test it

I think that the importer in your app should completely bypass the public ID field and send another in the order of free public IDs in the program because the current method can cause a lot of problems when uploading large amounts of data (300-400 and more objects) I am not able to check which public ids are free and it would be tiring to broadcast them, and it would be better if the program decided about their order when importing

I saw that when i import type it works good. because it assigns sequential public numbers in types
The problem occurs when importing objects
